On Mar. 6^th, 2019, the Spring Work Seminar for Hantang Culture Online Academy of Xi’an was held, with “Shouldering Responsibilities with Inspired Spirit, Planning Development with Built Consensus” as the theme. The Seminar was host by Song Feng, Director of the Department of Literature and Law of XRTU. Faculty and staff of the Hantang Culture Online Academy of Xi’an attended.

In the Seminar, Song Feng reviewed achievements made by the Hantang Culture Online Academy of Xi’an, and proposed the requirements on future works. She said that the Academy shoulders great responsibilities, so that works on publicity, university expansion, progress of online education, platform data application and so on require elaborate preparation and persistent effort. She expressed her expectation to the staff that everyone should take every second and be more determined and confident in the work so as to ensure a high-quality and efficient progress of the university. Fu Qiuhui introduced the new progress made by XRTU on resource construction, regional cooperation, and project research, and listed problems in present work.

All attended members joined in the discussion on online education, platform optimization, foreign language official website construction, information sharing on WeChat official account and related services, cooperation with other institutions, and future plans. They also proposed some suggestions to online education, publicity, and cooperation. To development online education, XRTU should make efforts to improve the popularization and application of course resources, optimize data analysis strategies, and support multi-language-based services. Public attention should also be raised through different approaches. Changes in contemporary Xi’an and the local culture should be publicized based on optimized activities and enhanced inter-university exchanges. All attendees were brainstorming and were allowed to speak freely, so that they may seek ideas collision and make consensus, offering more constructive suggestions for the Academy’s development.

All members of the Hantang Culture Online Academy of Xi’an made their resolution for the new semester. At the beginning of Spring, a new start, everyone will make concerted effort and work hard to improve their comprehensive quality and ability. Hopefully, the Hantang Culture Online Academy of Xi’an will smoothly moving forward through their down-to-earth efforts and innovative ideas.
